THE RAPE OF EUROPA (USA 117 minutes)
Saturday Evening, October 20, 7:30 PM
The Mellow Theater

The Rape of Europa is the incredible story of how and why the Nazis looted or destroyed literally millions of works of art, and the heroic, often life-threatening struggle to protect, preserve, and ultimately reunite those works with their rightful owners or their descendants. This collision of art history and military history is magnificent visually, heart-stopping exciting and filled with human heartache and triumph. The NEPA Jewish Film Festival showing of The Rape of Europa will be the regional premiere for one of the year's most important films.

The Rape of Europa has wowed sellout audiences and won a number of distinguished awards wherever it has been shown, including the Audience Award Best Documentary Feature from various important film festivals and the Best of Fest from Palm Springs International Film Festival.

The film will be introduced by director/producer/writer Richard Berge, who will conduct a Q&A discussion with the audience after the film's conclusion.
